Biography–

I spent the first 30 years of my life in New York, where I developed a deep passion for art education. During this time, I served as an art teacher with the New York Department of Education at the South Bronx Academy for Applied Media. In 2008, I relocated to Austin, TX, a move that proved to be both personally and professionally rewarding. In Austin, I initially worked as a substitute teacher for Austin ISD, where I met my husband, Shawn Stoeffler. Shawn is now an Assistant Principal at Wagner Middle School in Georgetown, TX.

Currently, I am a visual arts teacher at Giddens Elementary School within Leander ISD. Prior to this, I served in Round Rock ISD starting in 2009. I hold an A.A.S. in Display and Exhibit Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, a B.S. in Visual Arts from the State University of New York, and an M.A. in Art Education from Adelphi University.
